Dewdney Road Beach is a somewhat unknown beach in the Mckinley Landing area of Kelowna, British Columbia. Mckinley Landing is a popular lakeside community that provides visitors with several beaches to choose from including Dewdney Beach Access #2, #3, #4, and #5, as well as Dubbin Road South and North Beaches and perhaps the most notable of the bunch, Mckinley Beach.
The beach itself features a picture-perfect slice of Okanagan heaven and with its stunning views of the world-famous Okanagan Lake and its surrounding mountains, Dewdney Beach is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
The park boasts a nice large section of sandy beach with plenty of space as well as a short hiking trail that navigates along the edge of a steep embankment eventually taking you to an amazing lookout viewpoint where you can take fantastic pictures looking out towards Kelowna, BC. There are several picnic tables within the park that are perfect for family picnics, or just to relax and take in the gorgeous Okanagan Valley scenery.
