Rotary Park is located on the popular summertime destination known as Okanagan Lake in the Gellatly Bay area of West Kelowna, British Columbia. Gellatly Bay is a community that is full of great activities throughout the summer months and is situated along a popular wine route of the Okanagan Valley, which is a region known for its abundance of fruits, wines, and fantastic weather.
The park is one of many beach areas in the Gellatly Bay area and is a great place to start your tour of this small community. There is ample parking at Rotary Park along with, a grassy area, shade trees, and benches that look out onto beautiful Okanagan Lake. This park isn’t the greatest swimming area because of the large rocks that make up its beach, but it is a great place to relax and have a picnic or just to use as parking before you head down the waterfront walkway to one of the more swim-friendly beaches like Gellatly Bay Park or Willow Beach.
