Tough Watches: 4 Watches

This year is slowly approaching, but you can still purchase a watch.

This year has certainly been busy, and it is no surprise that we will need watches that can help us power through. For our busy needs and schedules, we need a watch that can keep up with us.

Fortunately, we've got just the thing: a list of the toughest watches available on the market. These watches here will feature differing price points, with unique traits that can help you end the year with a bang! Without any further ado, let us begin!

Bulova "666" Devil Diver Oceanographer

We're beginning this with the Bulova Devil Diver Oceanographer 96B350. It was produced first during the 1970s. This piece takes many classic cues from its design and the trademark bright orange dial. Its indices have SuperLuminova, which makes them glow in the dark and helps to produce an unusual but striking overall aesthetic effect.

This watch pays tribute to the brand's acclaimed Oceanographer, the original one made during the 1970s. The Miyota 821D-21B is also fitted into the watch, with its movement, with an autonomy of 42 hours of power reserve and impressive self-winding movement.

Also, look at Seiko watches, too.

HYT H4 RC44

HYT has a liquid technology marrying maritime traditions in the new H4 RC44! Russell Couts, who is partnering with HYT, designed the new RC44 in its monohull class. This year's theme or HYT, endurance, and camaraderie spirits have joined forces with the watch's pioneering spirit.

A deep blue liquid moves inside a translucent capillary around the watch's exterior that points at the black hour dial with grey numerals - this is how the HYT H4 RC44 tells the time. The watch also has a Super-LumiNova coating under the capillary that shines in the dark.

The 51mm case and crown of the watch are made up of reliable ultra-light carbon, while its grey color is visible at the sixth hour, in the logo, to be exact. Its rubber and screwed-down crown provides 50 m's worth of waterproofing. The strap, too, requires attention, as NOMEX produced it and its synthetic Kevlar fiber, perfect for extreme conditions.

Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronograph

Are you a diver? A snorkeller? Or are you one of those people who like the water a lot? If you fit any of these categories, this watch is perfect!

The Ulysse Nardin's Marine Chronograph Annual Calendar can go as deep as 100m, making it perfect for water sports and strenuous marine activities like diving, snorkeling, and sailing. You may need to adjust it once a year, though.

NOMOS Glashütte Tangente 38 for Doctors Without Borders

The NOMOS Glashütte's Tangente 38 for Doctors Without Borders is a watch for a good cause. It was based on the Tangente 38 Ref. 165 but with subtle feature changes. The watch was made for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). The 12 on the dial of the watch is printed in the color red - a color associated with Doctors Without Borders.

Proceeds from the NOMOS Glashütte's Tangente 38 for Doctors Without Borders go directly to the organization.
