About Longspoon Loop, Predator Ridge, British Columbia
Longspoon Loop is a scenic hiking trail located in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia at the world-famous golfing village known as Predator Ridge. The PGA course features many different activities and amenities and has hundreds of residential homes and vacation rentals for golf lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Predator Ridge is around 15 minutes drive from the city of Vernon and around 30 minutes drive from Kelowna and is situated atop Commonage in the midst of green rolling hills and picturesque Okanagan highlands. The village is surrounded by forest and wilderness areas so hiking opportunities are abundant and from here one can even connect to the incredibly beautiful Ellison Provincial Park.
The trail itself is pretty easygoing but is definitely enough to get your heart pumping as it takes you up and over the mountain to give you splendid views of Okanagan Lake, the village, and the golf course.
