About Cascada de Yelapa, Jalisco, Mexico

Cascada de Yelapa is a breathtaking waterfall and natural attraction that is located in the remote Mexican village of Yelapa, Jalisco. The falls are just a short and easy 10-15 minute walk from Playa Yelapa and the downtown area and provide visitors with a spectacular sight to behold. The path is a half-mile hike through quaint village alleyways past local farms, houses and even a souvenir stand at the end just before falls. Once hikers reach the falls they will be treated to views of the roughly 150-foot cascading beauty that lies in front of them. There is a pool at the bottom for those who wish to cool down and wash off the sweat that the surrounding jungle produces.
