Fintry Provincial Park and Protected Area
Fintry Provincial Park is 360 hectares of much sought-after land that has been set aside for public use and is part of the picturesque Fintry Delta. The delta is part of Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and extends out into Okanagan Lake, with over 2 km of waterfront. The park boasts beautiful sandy beaches as well as lakeside walking and hiking trails. The Fintry Falls trail is by far the most popular within the park and takes visitors up a zig-zagging staircase that follows Shorts Creek alongside the waterfall and up the mountain. The trail offers sensational up-close views of the falls and sprays a cool mist during certain times of the year
