Gardom Lake in British Columbia, Canada is yet another one of the Okanagan Valley’s many gems. The lake is situated on top of a wooded knoll in the heart of the Okanagan countryside between the towns of Enderby and Salmon Arm. Gardom is a magnificent summer paradise with an abundance of family-friendly activities like hiking, biking, fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming. Many people call Gardom Lake home and there is a small community of cabins and homes surrounding the lake. The Gardom Lake Bible Camp, which is 72 acres of forest, with its own beach, is available for rentals during the summer months.

Gardom Lake is well known for its great fishing opportunities and the lake is stocked full of Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, and Brook Trout. Fish up to 5 lbs can easily be caught fishing at this lake.
Hiking
Gardom Lake Community Park is not only a beautiful spot, with its perfect sandy beach, picnic area, and washrooms, but it is also a great place to start your hike on one of the many trails in the area. There are also two islands on the lake, which add to its overall beauty, both islands have hiking trails.

Wildlife
Gardom Lake is a great place for wildlife watching and includes many of British Columbia’s most popular animals like bears, eagles, ducks, and the painted turtles, which line up on the logs around the lake for some serious sunbathing time.
