Playa Paredon, Puerto Vallarta
Playa Paredon is one of Jalisco, Mexico’s most spectacular beaches and is by far the most private and secluded beach in Puerto Vallarta. It is well off the beaten path and can only be accessed by foot from Playa Las Gemelas or by boat. Walking there requires scaling over large boulders. That being said it is still well worth visiting and is a must-see for adventure enthusiasts visiting Puerto Vallarta.
Playa Paredon is not only the most secluded beach in PV but is also the most beautiful. The beach consists of large rounded boulders partially engulfed in lovely golden-colored sand. The backdrop is a large cliff covered in lush tropical vegetation and a small trickling waterfall coming down over the entrance of a massive sea cave. To the south, visitors will take in stunning views of Los Arcos, which is a small chain of islands with interesting rock formations that are popular for boat tours.
