Rattlesnake Point is the incredibly scenic tip of a rocky peninsula on Kalamalka Lake in Vernon, British Columbia. It is located in the very popular Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, which is one of the top tourism destinations in the Okanagan Valley. Rattlesnake Point can be reached by any of the trailheads within the park and is generally around a 6 km hike round trip. The trails take you through picturesque desert settings and grasslands full of wildflowers in the spring. The point has no beach but rather gorgeous coves with blue water that are great for diving and swimming. For beautiful sandy beaches, you’ll need to head to Juniper Bay, Jade Bay, or to Cosens Bay, all also located within Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park.
