Red Hollow Trail is located east of adventure-filled Cedar City, Utah, and is less than 1 mile up the scenic Cedar Canyon on Highway 14. The trailhead is situated within the Thunderbird Canyon Trail System and is ideal for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, climbing, and overall exploration. The site has a small parking lot just off the highway and is easy to find as there is a hard-to-miss Red Hollow Trail sign.
From the head of the trail, there is access to a popular rock climbing area called the Bowling Alley. Hikers can also enjoy hikes to either Thor’s Hideout Trail or Thor’s Lookout where there is a throne made out of flat slabs of rock that brilliantly overlooks the canyon.
