History of Gellatly Nut Farm
The Gellatly Nut Farm has been producing nuts for more than a century and first got its start with an early settler of the area named Jack Gellatly. Jack became fascinated with growing nuts and began experimenting with nut cultivation in the early 1900s with the intention of breeding certain nut varieties to become hardier. In 2005 the nut opened to the public and is now a great attraction and is well worth checking out.
