About Leo Carillo State Park
Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu, California is an incredibly beautiful park situated along dramatic coastlines packed with gorgeous sandy beaches and rocky bluffs. The state park includes a public campground that has 135 campsites for tents, trailers, and RVs and is perfectly located just across the highway from the beach. 46 of the park’s campsites have handy electrical hookups. Every campsite has a table, fire pit, and grill for cooking. There is also one massive campsite on the grounds that fit 50 people.
The campground also has flush toilets, outside showers, a store, drinking water, and day parking. You can buy firewood at the campground store.

What to do
Leo Carrillo State Park has a large beach that is around 1.5 miles long and is great for sunbathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, and spotting local wildlife. Make sure to hike around the park and explore the sea caves and tide pools. You can check the tide charts here.
