Cooper’s Beach, Silverton, BC
Copper’s Beach is a beautiful slice of Kootenay heaven situated in the former mining village of Silverton, British Columbia. The beach lies on the shores of picture-perfect Slocan Lake and has gorgeous views looking toward New Denver and the surrounding mountains. The beach features tiny pebbles that are easy on the feet, making it an excellent place for swimming. There is a floating dock just a short distance from the shore which is great for jumping into the lake or relaxing.
Locals head down to this beach every evening during the summer to take in the sun setting over the beautiful mountains of the Slocan Valley.
