About Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park, BC
Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is situated on the east coast of beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and features wonderous old-growth forests, warm ocean water, tide pools, a large white sand beach, and gorgeous ocean sunsets that occur on a daily basis. This stunning attraction is located near the popular vacation destinations of Parksville and Qualicum Beach
The tide at Rathtrevor plays a huge part in how big the beach is and at low tide, the ocean recedes almost a kilometer allowing for fun family exploration. When the tide comes back up it brings in some lukewarm water that is great for swimming and is shallow enough for the kids to play in without worry.
