Beaver Lake, Okanagan Valley

Beaver Lake is situated on a high alpine plateau in the popular Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. It is just one of many picturesque bodies of water that make up a chain of high mountain lakes. The lake sits at an elevation of approximately 4,600 ft / 1,400 m and is around 30 minutes from the town of Winfield in Lake Country as well as the Kelowna International Airport (KLW). Fishing is one of the main attractions at Beaver Lake as it is stocked with beautiful rainbow trout. Swimming, Kayaking canoeing, and paddleboarding are also popular activities to be enjoyed while visiting Beaver Lake.

Oyama Lake

Oyama Lake is situated in the highland alpine of the beautiful Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. It is an 800-acre lake with a geologic history of volcanic origins. The lake has excellent fishing opportunities and is stocked with tasty rainbow trout, 15,000-30,000 per year, to be exact. Oyama Lake is very tranquil which makes it the perfect place for kayaking paddle boarding, and canoeing. There are a few hiking trails to choose from as well as 27 islands giving visitors plenty to explore

Fourth Street Beach Park, Lake Country

Okanagan Centre Beach is situated in the beautiful community known as Lake Country, British Columbia. It lies in the heart of the popular wine region known as the Okanagan Valley. Lake Country is part of the North Okanagan and occupies the area between Vernon and Kelowna. This park features a lovely pebble and sand beach that has fantastic views looking out over Okanagan Lake towards the city of Kelowna. It conveniently sits right across the street from a restaurant called The Salty Caramel, which is one of three food establishments in the Okanagan Centre village.

Okanagan Centre Safe Harbour Regional Park

Okanagan Centre Safe Harbour Regional Park is situated along the beautiful Okanagan Lake in the beach community of Lake Country, British Columbia. The main purpose of the park is to provide safety for boaters during a storm, but aside from that it also provides visitors with a lovely piece to hang out for the day and have a beach picnic. The park boasts a gorgeous setting and features several ideal sandy beaches, a dock for fishing, as well as a convenient boat launch. The beach is also connected to the Okanagan Centre Beach Park Trail, which is one of the Okanagan Valley’s most scenic trails.

Pioneer Park, Oyama, BC

Station Beach, Oyama

Station Beach is located in the picturesque isthmus beach community of Oyama, British Columbia, Canada. it is situated at the head lovely Wood Lake in the Okanagan Valley and is connected via a channel to its larger sibling body of water known as Kalamalka Lake. Wood Lake is much smaller than Kalamalka Lake and the water is generally much warmer. In previous years Oyama was a busy little town and was a touristy stopping point on the main highway from Kelowna to Vernon called the Pelmewash Parkway, this made Station beach quite popular and busy.

Pebble Beach, Lake Country

Pebble Beach lies on the edge of beautiful Okanagan Lake in the Carrs Landing neighborhood of Lake Country, British Columbia. It provides beachgoers with splendid lake views and a relaxing place for a family picnic. The beach features a small parking lot, an outhouse, a dock, and a large beach consisting of tiny pebbles and crystal clear water that is idyllic for swimming, kayaking, or SUP paddleboarding. The beach doesn’t have much in terms of amenities but it is situated in a perfect location and is right down the street from two restaurants the Salty Caramel Kitchen and the Okanagan Patio Cafe.

Grant Island, Okanagan Lake

Grant Island is located in the gorgeous Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and is inaccessible to the public as it is a protected bird sanctuary. The island is situated about one kilometer from the shores of the community of beautiful Lake Country, BC. It is one of only two islands on Okanagan Lake, Rattlesnake Island is the other and it is located in Okanagan Mountain Park across the lake from the town of Peachland.

The park has a convenient boat launch as well as picnic tables, and an outhouse making it perfect for a family picnic day at the beach. The beach itself is somewhat hidden by the trees and requires you to walk a short trail to find it. The park is surrounded by wonderful scenery and incredible lakefront mansions and cabins.

R.S. Marshall Park, Lake Country

R.S. Marshall Park is the location for the Lake Country Sailing Club and is situated along world-famous Okanagan Lake in the beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada. The park has everything you need for a wonderful family picnic at the beach. There is a toilet, picnic tables, and a gorgeous beach with tiny red rocks and brilliantly clear water. Nuyens Park, Lake Country, BC

Nuyens Park is situated on Carr’s Landing which one of Okanagan' Valley’s most scenic backroads and is located in the heart of British Columbia’s world-famous wine country. Kaloya Regional Park

Kaloya Regional Park is a 3.7-hectare lakefront park located on the shores of gorgeous Kalamalka Lake in the village of Oyama, British Columbia.
