Eagle Crest Cliffs is an epic hiking trail that is situated in the gorgeous North Okanagan, British Columbia. The trail is around 30 minutes from the village of Lumby and once up top, it provides spectacular views of both Echo Lake and Barb Lake. The trail is not too well-known and is lightly trafficked, which is quite a breath of fresh air when compared to the Okanagan’s busier trails.
The hike starts off easy and within ten minutes becomes quite difficult and steep. That being said the hike only takes about 45-50 minutes to get to the top. After ascending through the thickly forested mountainside you will eventually come out to a road with a large clear-cut meadow. Take in the beauty of the mountains and then continue on the dirt road following the pink flag markers. You will then hike down several hundred feet till you get to the cliffs. Climb down the hill until you see the views that you’ve been waiting for.
