Cascade Falls, Mabel Lake
About Cascade Falls, Okanagan Valley
Cascade Falls is situated along spectacular Mabel Lake in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The falls are around a 30-40 minute drive from the village of Lumby and feature a short hike through a gorgeous moss-covered canyon and up to a glorious scene of beauty. The falls are freezing cold as they originate from glacial lakes that are located high in the mighty Monashee Mountains. As the fairytale-Esque path winds through the forest alongside the creek hikers will soon hear the crashing of water. 5-10 minutes into the hike visitors will bear witness to the incredible Cascade Falls.
The trail to Cascade Falls is located just off of Lumby-Mabel Lake Road. The trail leading to the falls is short but could be difficult for some, as it requires climbing over roots and the path gets skinny at times.
We highly recommend checking out Cascade Falls and afterward head over to either Mystic Trail Beach, Cascade Beach, or Mabel Lake Provincial Park to enjoy Mabel Lake’s stunning white-sand beaches.
