About Hidden Beach, San Pedro, Belize
Hidden Beach on Ambergris Caye, Belize is a secluded strip of several incredible coves with fine white sand and a quiet relaxing atmosphere than its more developed neighbor, Secret Beach. Hidden Beach is considered to be part of Secret Beach and though it requires a short walk through the jungle, it is definitely worth the time, especially if you want to get away from the hustle of the more popular beaches.
Due to the natural barrier reefs around the Cayes, the sea is generally calm and smooth like glass with tiny little waves, but that is entirely dependant on the wind factors that day. These near-perfect conditions make for some of the best snorkeling on earth and are part of the world’s second-largest reef, the Belize Barrier Reef.
Though Secret Beach is great and provides visitors with plenty of options for authentic Belizean food, cocktails, and accommodations, it could get pretty expensive if you're racking up a tab all day. So if you're on a tight budget then you might want to grab a loved one, pack your cooler full of Belikins(beer) and snacks and make the walk down to Hidden Beach to have a secluded picnic in peace while you listen to the gently crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea.
