Kickininee Provincial Park is a provincial park of British Columbia, Canada, and is located in the spectacular Okanagan Valley region. It is situated on the outskirts of the small beach town of Summerland. This day-use area is one of 4 scenic parks along the stretch of highway between the city of Penticton and Summerland and that includes Soorimpt, Pyramid, and Sun-Oka Provincial Parks.
Kickininee Provincial Park was originally established in 1970 is is around 48.76 hectares in size. It is a popular rest stop for people who are cruising through the Okanagan on a road trip and are looking for somewhere to stretch or use a washroom. The park also has a few picnic tables and is surrounded by gorgeous sandy beaches that are perfect for swimming in the tranquil waters of Okanagan Lake. It is the ideal spot to launch your SUP paddleboards or Kayaks and head out for a day of adventure on the massive 135 km (84 mi) lake.
