Kickininee Provincial Park

Kickininee Provincial Park is a provincial park of British Columbia, Canada, and is located in the spectacular Okanagan Valley region. It is situated on the outskirts of the small beach town of Summerland. This day-use area is one of 4 scenic parks along the stretch of highway between the city of Penticton and Summerland and that includes Soorimpt, Pyramid, and Sun-Oka Provincial Parks. Kickininee Provincial Park was originally established in 1970 is is around 48.76 hectares in size. It is a popular rest stop for people who are cruising through the Okanagan on a road trip and are looking for somewhere to stretch or use a washroom.

Soorimpt Provincial Park

Soorimpt Provincial Park is a popular rest stop situated along Highway 97 between Penticton and Summerland, British Columbia. It is one of 4 provincial parks in the area including Pyramid Provincial Park, Kickininee Provincial Park, and Sun-Oka Provincial Park. The park is day-use only and provides passers-by a great place to stop and stretch after a long road trip through the scenic Okanagan Valley, BC. It features public washrooms, picnic areas, as well as gorgeous coves with lovely beaches that are great for swimming. It is also an excellent place to launch kayaks or SUP paddleboards and is one of the most spectacular areas to explore via water.

Pyramid Provincial Park

Pyramid Provincial Park is one of a string of three provincial parks located in the Summerland area of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and is situated on Okanagan Lake along Highway 97. Pyramid along with Kickininee and Soorimpt Provincial Parks all within minutes of each other and are road trip stopovers. The area of Summerland in the Okanagan Valley is a hotbed for tourism due to its abundant amounts of gorgeous sunny weather which in turn allows for a bounty of delicious fruits and world-class wines.

Gordon Beggs Rotary Beach, Summerland

Gordon Beggs Rotary Beach is a beautiful park on Okanagan Lake in Summerland, British Columbia. It is just one of many spectacular beaches that are located on Summerland’s scenic Lakeshore Drive. The drive also boasts walkways along the lake that connect with the other beaches, as well as a local pub. The park itself features fine powdery white sand and generally calm Okanagan Lake waters. It is also home to the Kiwana's Floating Dock, which is great for swimming. There are washroom facilities in the park and a slide that goes right into the water which your kids will absolutely love.

North Crescent Beach, Summerland

North Crescent Beach is a small beach access point that is located within the gorgeous Crescent Beach community of Summerland, British Columbia, Canada. It has no amenities other than a bench to sit and look out over the waters of Okanagan Lake towards the city of Kelowna. What the beach lacks in facilities it makes up for with peace and quiet, gorgeous fine white sand, crystal clear water, and a splendid Okanagan backdrop full of orchards, and vineyards. The beach also features exquisite desert vista views with hoodoos and sandy bluffs.

Crescent Beach, Summerland

Crescent Beach is a quiet residential area located in the splendid lakefront community of Summerland, British Columbia. Summerland is situated in the spectacular Okanagan Valley region of Canada and features miles upon miles of shoreline providing beachgoers with plenty of space for a lakefront picnic. The area is famous for its abundance of sunshine and great weather which in turn allows for perfect fruit growing and winemaking conditions. Kinsmen Park, Summerland

Kinsmen Park is a small rocky beach on the sought after Okanagan Lake, in the aptly named town of Summerland, British Columbia. The park features beautiful views of Okanagan Lake looking out towards the city of Kelowna, which is the hub of the popular vacation destination known as the Okanagan Valley. Being that it is a fairly small beach It lacks amenities but does have some picnic tables, children’s playground equipment, a tiny Japanese garden area, and a cool slide that goes from the top of the park’s entrance stairs and allows you to slide down. The park also boasts a trickling stream that adds to the relaxing ambiance of the spot.

Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park

Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia which is saying a lot if you consider that the region literally has hundreds of gorgeous beaches. It is located just outside of the small lakeside town of Summerland. It is conveniently situated right off of Highway 97 and is also just a short drive from the city of Penticton, BC. The park opened in 1969 and first went by the name Claybanks Beach Park. It covers an area of around 30 hectares and the 558m of Okanagan Lake shoreline.
