Rotary Beach is located on the South end of the beautiful and exquisite Tuc-El-Nuit Lake in the town of Oliver, British Columbia, also known as “The Wine Capital of Canada”. It is perfectly situated in the midst of the mountainous desert terrain of the world-famous Okanagan Valley. Tuc-el-Nuit Lake is just one of over 50 lakes in the Okanagan Valley but is definitely one of the most scenic and provides great views of mountains and vineyards as well as the popular hiking area known as McIntyre Bluff in the background.

The beach itself is the only public swimming area on the rather small Tuc-El-Nuit Lake. It features a gorgeous sandy beach, washroom, change room, picnic tables, and a children’s playground.

The lake only allows for non-motorized watercraft which makes Rotary Beach a nice and quiet place for swimming, SUP paddleboarding, or kayaking.

Beaver Lake is situated on a high alpine plateau in the popular Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. It is just one of many picturesque bodies of water that make up a chain of high mountain lakes. The lake sits at an elevation of approximately 4,600 ft / 1,400 m and is around 30 minutes from the town of Winfield in Lake Country as well as the Kelowna International Airport (KLW). Beachcomber Bay Beach is a brand new beach access point that is situated on the outskirts of the city of Vernon, British Columbia. The park sits on the shores of Okanagan Lake just off of scenic Tronson Road heading towards Adventure Bay. It offers beachgoers a gorgeous spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain scenery and the peaceful lapping of the waves. The park features a small beach with a combination of sand and rock, as well as a nice park bench. There are currently no washrooms or outhouses at Beachcomber Bay Beach.

Skaha Lake is a gorgeous body of water that stretches for 11.8 km (7.3 mi) and has a max-width of 2.2 km (1.4 mi). Mint Beach is a small park and beach that is situated on lovely Kalamalka Lake, British Columbia. This ideally located beach lies on Westkal Road in the Coldstream area of the city of Vernon. This beach park undeveloped and has nothing in terms of amenities aside from two parking spaces, a trash can. It has a small sandy area that is perfect for taking a swim in the crystal clear waters of Kalamalka Lake. There are a couple of chairs that were brought there by some locals that provide an excellent spot for hanging out at the lake. Keep in mind there aren’t any kind of washrooms at Mint Beach.

Jameson Beach is a small undeveloped piece of beachfront land in Coldstream, British Columbia that is open for public use. The beach is located on the edge of spectacular Kalamalka Lake on Westkal Road, which is technically considered the greater Vernon area. The park has nothing in terms of amenities aside from two parking spaces, and a trash can. It features a sandy little beach area that is perfect for family picnics and makes for a great place to cool off go swimming in the crystal clear waters of Kalamalka Lake.
