Dewdney Road Beach #4, Kelowna

Dewdney Road Beach #4 is one of five public beach access points along Dewdney Road in the Mckinley Landing community of Kelowna, British Columbia. It provides beach-goers with a lovely park area that is equipped with very few amenities but it is the perfect spot to spend the day swimming at Okanagan Lake. Parking is limited and it is a fairly small park that is wedged in between residential homes but provides enough space for a nice private family picnic or BBQ. It features green park space, picnic tables, and a small rocky beach with great views of Okanagan Lake.

Pebble Beach, Lake Country

Pebble Beach lies on the edge of beautiful Okanagan Lake in the Carrs Landing neighborhood of Lake Country, British Columbia. It provides beachgoers with splendid lake views and a relaxing place for a family picnic. The beach features a small parking lot, an outhouse, a dock, and a large beach consisting of tiny pebbles and crystal clear water that is idyllic for swimming, kayaking, or SUP paddleboarding. The beach doesn’t have much in terms of amenities but it is situated in a perfect location and is right down the street from two restaurants the Salty Caramel Kitchen and the Okanagan Patio Cafe.

Dubbin Road North Beach, Kelowna

Dubbin Road North Beach is one of seven lake access points located in the beautiful lakeside McKinley Landing neighborhood of Kelowna, British Columbia. It lies on the edge of Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada, which is a world-famous wine region and popular summer vacation destination. Dubbins Road North Beach treats beachgoers with splendid views of the lake and a small rocky cove that provides a great place for swimming, kayaking, floating, or SUP paddleboarding. Essentially the park’s only amenities are a parking lot at the top and one picnic table with a grassy area that would be great for a family BBQ.

Dewdney Road Beach is a somewhat unknown beach in the Mckinley Landing area of Kelowna, British Columbia. Mckinley Landing is a popular lakeside community that provides visitors with several beaches to choose from including Dewdney Beach Access #2, #3, #4, and #5, as well as Dubbin Road South and North Beaches and perhaps the most notable of the bunch, Mckinley Beach. The beach itself features a picture-perfect slice of Okanagan heaven and with its stunning views of the world-famous Okanagan Lake and its surrounding mountains, Dewdney Beach is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Whitepoint Beach, Vernon

Whitepoint Beach lies on the outskirts of the city of Vernon in the lovely Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and sits on the edge of gorgeous Okanagan Lake. The drive out to the beach is a spectacular one and takes you along Okanagan Landing where there are multi-million dollar lakefront houses, along with public beaches and coves that are great for swimming and family picnics.

McKinley Beach, Kelowna

Gable Beach Park

Gable Beach Park features a gorgeous sandy beach and beautiful clear water and is located in the Okanagan Valley’s stunning orchard and wine region called Lake Country, British Columbia. The park has a convenient boat launch as well as picnic tables, and an outhouse making it perfect for a family picnic day at the beach. The beach itself is somewhat hidden by the trees and requires you to walk a short trail to find it. The park is surrounded by wonderful scenery and incredible lakefront mansions and cabins.

R.S. Marshall Park, Lake Country

R.S. Marshall Park is the location for the Lake Country Sailing Club and is situated along world-famous Okanagan Lake in the beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada. The park has everything you need for a wonderful family picnic at the beach. There is a toilet, picnic tables, and a gorgeous beach with tiny red rocks and brilliantly clear water. The park is yet another amazing treasure of the communities known as Lake Country in the Okanagan Valley.

Hurlburt Park, Vernon , BC

For around 80 years this little slice of paradise known as Hurlburt Park was a summer camp for kids, and it wasn’t until recently that the city of Vernon, British Columbia purchased the land and turned it into this picturesque public beach. This is especially a treat for locals who drove by this mesmerizing spot on a regular basis while making their way out to nearby Ellison Provincial Park and always daydreamed of being able to one day lay on its that perfect sand.

Antlers Beach

Antlers Beach Regional Park is an easy to access long sandy beach located on gorgeous Okanagan Lake, British Columbia, Canada. The park is situated right off of Highway 97 in the beautiful little beach town of Peachland. With such easy access to the beach and its enticing qualities, the park is a popular stop when passing through the scenic Okanagan Valley. Antlers Beach is a long pebbled beach mixed in with white sand, which is nice and easy on the feet. There are picnic tables and outhouses available for public use. From the beach, you will have stunning views of Okanagan Lake and the incredible wilderness that surrounds it.

Ellison Provincial Park

Ellison Provincial Park is situated on the outskirts of the city of Vernon, in the fantastic Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. It has spectacular scenery with sheltered coves of clear jade colored waters, along with gorgeous red sand beaches that are unmatched in their unique beauty. There are many hiking trails throughout the park that take you precariously along the edges of high cliffs that overlook the shores of Okanagan Lake.
