Kinsmen Park, Summerland
Kinsmen Park is a small rocky beach on the sought after Okanagan Lake, in the aptly named town of Summerland, British Columbia. The park features beautiful views of Okanagan Lake looking out towards the city of Kelowna, which is the hub of the popular vacation destination known as the Okanagan Valley. Being that it is a fairly small beach It lacks amenities but does have some picnic tables, children’s playground equipment, a tiny Japanese garden area, and a cool slide that goes from the top of the park’s entrance stairs and allows you to slide down. The park also boasts a trickling stream that adds to the relaxing ambiance of the spot.
Swim Bay, Peachland
Swim Bay is a fun Okanagan attraction that is located in the splendid little beach town of Peachland, British Columbia. It is a small bay situated along the edge of the much sought after Okanagan Lake and is part of one of the valley’s most scenic waterfront promenades. The lakefront walk stretches for miles but has plenty of benches and picnic tables to rest. Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park
Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia which is saying a lot if you consider that the region literally has hundreds of gorgeous beaches. It is located just outside of the small lakeside town of Summerland. It is conveniently situated right off of Highway 97 and is also just a short drive from the city of Penticton, BC. The park opened in 1969 and first went by the name Claybanks Beach Park. It covers an area of around 30 hectares and the 558m of Okanagan Lake shoreline.
Station Beach, Oyama
Station Beach is located in the picturesque isthmus beach community of Oyama, British Columbia, Canada. it is situated at the head lovely Wood Lake in the Okanagan Valley and is connected via a channel to its larger sibling body of water known as Kalamalka Lake. Wood Lake is much smaller than Kalamalka Lake and the water is generally much warmer. In previous years Oyama was a busy little town and was a touristy stopping point on the main highway from Kelowna to Vernon called the Pelmewash Parkway, this made Station beach quite popular and busy.

Sovereign Park, Vernon

Kirkland Beach Park is a beautiful little slice of Okanagan Valley heaven that has been conveniently set aside as a public green space. It is situated along gorgeous Kalamalka Lake in the Coldstream community just a few minutes outside of Vernon, British Columbia. it is within walking distance from several other beaches including Kalavista Beach and the uber-popular Kal Beach. It is close to several other attractions including Middleton Mountain hiking trails where you hike up to the top and take in the stunning views of the Okanagan Valley as well as Kal Beach and the lake’s incredibly blue water. The Okanagan Rail Trail is another nearby attraction that goes along the entire length of Kalamalaka Lake and beyond and it can be enjoyed by either walking or biking.
Kalavista Beach, Vernon
Kalavista Beach is a small section of parkland in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia that has been set aside for public use. It is located along Kalamalka Road just a short drive from Vernon’s most popular attraction Kal Beach. Aside from a small bench, the park doesn’t have anything in terms of amenities, though it is a great spot to relax in peace and quiet away from busy Kal Beach. It is a great place for a romantic picnic or to watch one of the gorgeous Okanagan sunsets overlooking the lake.
Kal Beach, Vernon
Kal Beach is just a short drive from the city of Vernon, British Columbia, and is probably the most popular tourist attraction in the area. It is located in the quiet Coldstream neighborhood of the Okanagan Valley and is situated at the head of the brilliantly blue body of water known as Kalamalka Lake. Kal Beach faces towards Kelowna and provides excellent views of the arid Okanagan landscape that covers the hills surrounding the lake. It is approximately 300-meters long and contains nice soft sand, there are also large poplar trees that provide ample shade on a hot Okanagan day. There are picnic tables within the park as well as convenient washroom facilities, a large parking lot, a beach volleyball court, and a concession stand that serves food and drinks.

Lakeshore Park and Beach is a new addition to Vernon, British Columbia’s already long list of beautiful beaches. It is situated at the head of scenic Okanagan Lake in BC’s famous wine region known as the Okanagan Valley. The beach has already been used for a long time by locals but it recently underwent a revamping and was transformed into a wonderful family-friendly park. The park features a brand new playground, picnic tables, gardens, and a nice white sand beach with gorgeous views of Okanagan Lake, BC.
Dewdney Road Beach #4, Kelowna
Dewdney Road Beach #4 is one of five public beach access points along Dewdney Road in the Mckinley Landing community of Kelowna, British Columbia. It provides beach-goers with a lovely park area that is equipped with very few amenities but it is the perfect spot to spend the day swimming at Okanagan Lake. Parking is limited and it is a fairly small park that is wedged in between residential homes but provides enough space for a nice private family picnic or BBQ. It features green park space, picnic tables, and a small rocky beach with great views of Okanagan Lake.
Pebble Beach, Lake Country
Pebble Beach lies on the edge of beautiful Okanagan Lake in the Carrs Landing neighborhood of Lake Country, British Columbia. It provides beachgoers with splendid lake views and a relaxing place for a family picnic. The beach features a small parking lot, an outhouse, a dock, and a large beach consisting of tiny pebbles and crystal clear water that is idyllic for swimming, kayaking, or SUP paddleboarding. The beach doesn’t have much in terms of amenities but it is situated in a perfect location and is right down the street from two restaurants the Salty Caramel Kitchen and the Okanagan Patio Cafe.
Dubbin Road North Beach, Kelowna
Dubbin Road North Beach is one of seven lake access points located in the beautiful lakeside McKinley Landing neighborhood of Kelowna, British Columbia. It lies on the edge of Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley region of Canada, which is a world-famous wine region and popular summer vacation destination. Dubbins Road North Beach treats beachgoers with splendid views of the lake and a small rocky cove that provides a great place for swimming, kayaking, floating, or SUP paddleboarding. Essentially the park’s only amenities are a parking lot at the top and one picnic table with a grassy area that would be great for a family BBQ.

Mckinley Landing is a popular lakeside community that provides visitors with several beaches to choose from including Dewdney Beach Access #2, #3, #4, and #5, as well as Dubbin Road South and North Beaches and perhaps the most notable of the bunch, Mckinley Beach. The beach itself features a picture-perfect slice of Okanagan heaven and with its stunning views of the world-famous Okanagan Lake and its surrounding mountains, Dewdney Beach is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.
Pumphouse Beach, Vernon
Pumphouse Beach is located along the edge of amazing Kalamalka Lake in the world-famous Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The lake is well known for its warm summertime waters and stunning aqua blue colors. Kal Lake has many beaches and parks where you can spend the day with the family and probably the most popular is Kal Beach which is just down the road from Pumphouse Beach and is a quieter breath of fresh air compared to its much busier neighbor.
Jade Bay Beach, Vernon
Jade Bay Beach is one of about 5 or so beaches located within Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park which is a 978 hectares (2,420 acres) piece of amazing Okanagan wilderness set aside for your pleasure. Kalamalka Lake is situated in the stunning Okanagan Valley, British Columbia and with all of the lakes attributes it is hands down one of the best in the country of Canada. The lake is perhaps most well known for its incredibly vibrant turquoise color that it turns in mid-summer as the warm of the waters has a reaction with a mineral called calcite.

Kin Beach is a large sandy beach that is situated at the head of popular Okanagan Lake and on the outskirts of the city of Vernon in the North Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Vernon and features a long stretch of white sand, a big playground for the kids, washroom facilities, gazebos for large family gatherings, bbq fire pits, picnic tables, and benches. The area around the beach has a campground called Sandy Beach Campground as well as a concession with ice cream and food.

Whitepoint Beach lies on the outskirts of the city of Vernon in the lovely Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and sits on the edge of gorgeous Okanagan Lake. The drive out to the beach is a spectacular one and takes you along Okanagan Landing where there are multi-million dollar lakefront houses, along with public beaches and coves that are great for swimming and family picnics.
