Okanagan Lake Beach is located at the head of spectacular Okanagan Lake in the city of Penticton. It is perfectly situated along Lakeshore Drive which is one of the Okanagan Valley’s premier vacation spots and it features many beaches and parks as well as resorts, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and shops. The beach itself features a kilometer of gorgeous sandy beach overlooking Okanagan Lake and its surrounding desert hills and mountains. It has a swimming area, floating docks, children’s slides, shade trees, wheelchair-access ramps, public fire pits, washrooms, and free parking. At the end of the beach is the S.S. Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park, which is a large paddlewheel ferry boat that used to carry passengers up and down Okanagan Lake.
