Casa Loma Beach on Okanagan Lake is a great park to spend the day swimming or having a family picnic. It is situated in West Kelowna, British Columbia in the heart of the Okanagan Valley’s wine country. It is located in an area that features many attractions including more beaches, as well as resorts, restaurants, wineries, vineyards, and even cideries. The beach itself doesn’t feature any amenities aside from a couple of benches that the lake. That being said the park does feature a lovely sandy beach and beautiful views looking out at Okanagan Lake towards the city of Kelowna.

Wharf Park, Naramata

Wharf Park is a place of historical value that is located in the small beach town of Naramata in the heart of the Okanagan Valley wine country. Situated on the shores of Okanagan Lake, British Columbia, this park once served as the original old Train Dock at Mill Bay and was used by the Naramata fruit co-op packinghouse to ship local produce to different areas around the valley. The old wharf is now gone and a new one has been constructed and it is great for jumping in the lake with its convenient ladder that allows you to climb back up. The park also has a few benches that are great for relaxing and taking in the tranquil beauty of Okanagan Lake.

Kickininee Provincial Park

Kickininee Provincial Park is a provincial park of British Columbia, Canada, and is located in the spectacular Okanagan Valley region. It is situated on the outskirts of the small beach town of Summerland. This day-use area is one of 4 scenic parks along the stretch of highway between the city of Penticton and Summerland and that includes Soorimpt, Pyramid, and Sun-Oka Provincial Parks. Kickininee Provincial Park was originally established in 1970 is is around 48.76 hectares in size. It is a popular rest stop for people who are cruising through the Okanagan on a road trip and are looking for somewhere to stretch or use a washroom.

Soorimpt Provincial Park

Soorimpt Provincial Park is a popular rest stop situated along Highway 97 between Penticton and Summerland, British Columbia. It is one of 4 provincial parks in the area including Pyramid Provincial Park, Kickininee Provincial Park, and Sun-Oka Provincial Park. The park is day-use only and provides passers-by a great place to stop and stretch after a long road trip through the scenic Okanagan Valley, BC. It features public washrooms, picnic areas, as well as gorgeous coves with lovely beaches that are great for swimming. It is also an excellent place to launch kayaks or SUP paddleboards and is one of the most spectacular areas to explore via water.

Pyramid Provincial Park

Pyramid Provincial Park is one of a string of three provincial parks located in the Summerland area of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and is situated on Okanagan Lake along Highway 97. Pyramid along with Kickininee and Soorimpt Provincial Parks all within minutes of each other and are road trip stopovers.
