Cosens Creek Falls, Vernon
About Cosens Creek Falls
Cosens Creek Falls is a gorgeous little waterfall that is situated within Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park on the outskirts of the city of Vernon, British Columbia. It isn’t a very well-known attraction and up until recently, not many people were even aware of its existence. It is a seasonal waterfall, so your experience at the falls will depend on what time of year you choose to visit. We visited at the end of winter in March and it was beautiful, but nothing too spectacular. That being said, Cosens Creek Falls is still worth the visit, and apparently, during the spring runoff, you will see the waterfall in its full glory.

About Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park
Cosens Creek Falls is a worthwhile stop on your trek through Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park but is just one of many attractions within the park’s borders. Kal Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the Okanagan Valley and would even hold up as one of the most beautiful in the entire country of Canada. It is especially breathtaking during the warm summer months when Kal Lake heats up and turns an incredible light blue color. That is precisely why this spectacular body of water goes by the nickname “Lake of Many Colours”.
