Playa Tranquila is a splendid little beach that is located north of Jalisco’s most famous Malecon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The beach boasts crystal clear emerald-colored waters with lovely golden sand mixed with small pebbles. It is great for swimming as the waves are much more gentle compared to the other beaches, which explains the name Tranquila (Tranquil). It is one of the least popular beaches in PV, and as such, it is much quieter and more peaceful.
