Silver Beach Provincial Park

Located at the far northern reaches of Shuswap Lake, British Columbia is the incredibly beautiful destination known as Silver Beach Provincial Park. The park is situated in the remote village of Seymour Arm at the original site of a historic gold rush town that was formerly named Ogden City. Silver Beach features a large public campground boasting 35 total sites, some of which are beachfront on what is perhaps the Shuswap’s most beautiful beach.

Ross Creek Community Park

Ross Creek Community Park is an idyllic beach and picnic area that is located in the beautiful lakeside village of Magna Bay, British Columbia. The park features over 200 meters of sandy beach situated on the shores of Shuswap Lake. The park also boasts a great picnic area, outhouses, and a large parking lot for your convenience. Aside from the main beach, there are several private coves that can be accessed using a short hiking trail which eventually leads to Ross Creek. This park is abundant in beauty and is a must-visit stop on your visit to the Shuswap region of Canada.

Magna Bay Community Park

Magna Bay Community Park is a lovely swimming and picnic area that is situated along the beautiful shores of Shuswap Lake, British Columbia. It is one of the most popular spots in Magna Bay and is a great place for family picnics and days at the beach. The park features over 100 meters of sandy beach, picnic tables, outhouses, and a parking lot. The park also boasts a convenient public boat launch and dock and is an excellent spot to launch kayaks or paddleboards.

Lakeview Community Park, Anglemont

Lakeview Community Park is a waterfront public beach and green space that is situated in the small village of Anglemont, British Columbia. The park lies on the pristine shores of beautiful Shuswap Lake and is the ideal family picnic and swimming spot. The water is crystal clear and the beach itself is over 200 meters long and is comprised of a combination of rocks and sand. It features picnic tables, benches, an outhouse, as well as garbage, and recycling bins.

Sandy Beach, Blind Bay

Sandy Beach is one of two main beaches that are situated in the wonderful lakeside village of Blind Bay, British Columbia. The beach boasts lovely white powdery sand and picture-perfect scenery looking out on Shuswap Lake. It features several picnic tables making it ideal for family days at the beach. The park is also located right next to the Bayside Marina and Grill, which is an excellent place to stop and eat after a day at the beach.

Roy Sharp Community Park, Shuswap

Roy Sharp Community Park is situated along Sunnybrae-Canoe Point Road on the shores of gorgeous Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. The park was named as a dedication to a prominent Sunnybrae community member named Roy Sharp, who tragically passed away on May 6, 2017, during the Robinson Creek landslide. The park features crystal clear water and a beautiful beach that is a combination of sand and rocks. it also boasts amenities such as outhouses, picnic tables, benches, a parking lot and a wheelchair friendly trail. Overall the park is a great place for a day at the beach for a family picnic.

Canoe Beach, Salmon Arm

Though generally considered part of the city of Salmon Arm, the beach is actually located in the small lakefront village of Canoe, BC. The beach is just a short drive west from Salmon Arm and is one of the most beautiful and sought-after white-sand beaches in the Shuswap region. Canoe Beach features ample picnic space, lots of amenities, and spectacular mountain views, making this beach the perfect day trip for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

Rocky Point Community Park, Blind Bay

Rocky Point Community Park is a must-visit beach that is situated in the idyllic lakefront village of Blind Bay, British Columbia. It lies on the shores of gorgeous Shuswap Lake and is the perfect spot for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding. The park is located at the tip of Reedman Point where beachgoers will enjoy excellent views of Copper Island and the surrounding area. It also features a lovely beach with crystal clear water and some very interesting geologic formations.

Little Shuswap Lake

Little Shuswap Lake is a small lake that is located in the Columbia/Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada. This picturesque lake receives most of its inflow via the Little River, which flows in from its massive neighbor known as Shuswap Lake. At the other end of Little Shuswap Lake is the South Thompson River, which flows into Kamloops Lake. The lake is approximately 7.8 kilometers (4.8 mi) long and 2.4 kilometers wide.

Winchester Beach, Sicamous

Winchester Beach Park and Boat Launch are located in the picturesque beachfront neighborhood known as Swansea Point, which is located on Mara Lake, British Columbia. It is situated a few minutes from the beach town of Sicamous in the Shuswap region of BC. Winchester Beach is one of seven public beach access points at Swansea Point. It features a boat launch, a dock, and a beautiful pearly white sand beach. Canterbury Road Community Park, Sicamous

Canterbury Road Community Park provides beachgoers with access to scenic Mara Lake which is located in the Swansea Point neighborhood of Sicamous, British Columbia. The park is small and as such, it is not loaded with amenities but does have a small parking lot, a beach volleyball net, picnic tables, and most importantly a wonderful white sand beach overlooking Mara Lake. This beach is the perfect place to go for a swim, launch a kayak or SUP paddleboard, and is one of seven lake access points on Swansea Point, so finding somewhere to relax for the day shouldn’t be a problem.

Swanson Community Park, Sicamous

Swanson Community Park is one of seven convenient Mara Lake beach access points that are located in the scenic Swansea Point neighborhood just outside of the town of Sicamous, British Columbia. The park is an excellent and secluded little beach to claim as your own for the day and features several amenities that make it a good spot for family picnics. Amenities include an outhouse, a playground, garbage, and a nice sandy beach that has great views of Sicamous and Mara Lake. It is also a great place to go floating, kayaking, or SUP paddleboarding.

Two Mile Beach, Sicamous

Two Mile Beach is located near the beautiful lake town of Sicamous in the scenic Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada. It is one of Mara Lake’s many gorgeous white-sand public beaches. It is not very well-known to tourists, nor is it busy like some of the more popular beaches such as Sicamous Beach Park and it doesn’t have any kind of amenities aside from a picnic table and a small parking lot. But what this beach lacks in amenities it makes up for in peace and quiet, as well as wonderful white sand and clear water. Also, the fact that Two Mile Beach is quite large makes it easy to find your own private spot to lay in the warm summer sun

Rutherford Beach, Three Valley Gap

Rutherford Beach in British Columbia is by far one of the most beautiful rest stops along the Trans-Canada Highway and not only provides visitors a place to stretch out and use the washrooms but also provides a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of Three Valley Lake. The beach is located in the small community of Three Valley Gap and is situated at the end of the lake opposite to the European-style Three Valley Lake Chateau and the popular attraction known as the Heritage Ghost Town.

Three Valley Lake is a picturesque body of water located in the Columbia-Shuswap region of adventure-filled British Columbia, Canada, and is roughly 27 km southwest of the popular mountain ski village of Revelstoke. It is perfectly enveloped by spectacular mountains that have snow on their tops for the majority of the year, aside from the months of August and September. These snowy mountains create gorgeous waterfalls that crash down into the lake and are an amazing sight to behold. The lake is quite gorgeous and with its great beaches, dramatic mountain scenery, waterfalls, and European style chateau hotel it is truly reminiscent of something you may see in the Swiss Alps.
