It has plenty of green space for family gatherings and the beach provides an excellent place for water activities like swimming, SUP paddleboarding, Kayaking.

Casa Loma Dock is an undeveloped park in West Kelowna, British Columbia provides an excellent place to relax and take in the gorgeous scenery of Okanagan Lake. The park features a small cove with a nice sandy beach, a picnic table, and a dock with a bench. The perfectly sloped beach allows for the perfect place to launch a SUP paddleboard, a kayak, or just to go swimming.

Rotary Park is located on the popular summertime destination known as Okanagan Lake in the Gellatly Bay area of West Kelowna, British Columbia. Gellatly Bay is a community that is full of great activities throughout the summer months and is situated along a popular wine route of the Okanagan Valley, which is a region known for its abundance of fruits, wines, and fantastic weather. The park is one of many beach areas in the Gellatly Bay area and is a great place to start your tour of this small community. There is ample parking at Rotary Park along with, a grassy area, shade trees, and benches that look out onto beautiful Okanagan Lake.

Casa Loma Beach on Okanagan Lake is a great park to spend the day swimming or having a family picnic. It is situated in West Kelowna, British Columbia in the heart of the Okanagan Valley’s wine country. It is located in an area that features many attractions including more beaches, as well as resorts, restaurants, wineries, vineyards, and even cideries. The beach itself doesn’t feature any amenities aside from a couple of benches that the lake. That being said the park does feature a lovely sandy beach and beautiful views looking out at Okanagan Lake towards the city of Kelowna.

Falcon Park itself has nothing in terms of amenities and is essentially a rough chunk of land in a beautiful area that is located on Okanagan Lake. It only has a single picnic table and a small sandy beach but what this little gem lacks in size and amenities is exactly what makes it the perfect place for privacy. Grab a bottle of local wine and head over to Falcon Park and cross your fingers that you will get the beach all to yourself.

Wharf Park is a place of historical value that is located in the small beach town of Naramata in the heart of the Okanagan Valley wine country. Situated on the shores of Okanagan Lake, British Columbia, this park once served as the original old Train Dock at Mill Bay and was used by the Naramata fruit co-op packinghouse to ship local produce to different areas around the valley. The old wharf is now gone and a new one has been constructed and it is great for jumping in the lake with its convenient ladder that allows you to climb back up. The park also has a few benches that are great for relaxing and taking in the tranquil beauty of Okanagan Lake.

Kickininee Provincial Park is a provincial park of British Columbia, Canada, and is located in the spectacular Okanagan Valley region. It is situated on the outskirts of the small beach town of Summerland. This day-use area is one of 4 scenic parks along the stretch of highway between the city of Penticton and Summerland and that includes Soorimpt, Pyramid, and Sun-Oka Provincial Parks. Kickininee Provincial Park was originally established in 1970 is is around 48.76 hectares in size. It is a popular rest stop for people who are cruising through the Okanagan on a road trip and are looking for somewhere to stretch or use a washroom.

Soorimpt Provincial Park is a popular rest stop situated along Highway 97 between Penticton and Summerland, British Columbia. It is one of 4 provincial parks in the area including Pyramid Provincial Park, Kickininee Provincial Park, and Sun-Oka Provincial Park. The park is day-use only and provides passers-by a great place to stop and stretch after a long road trip through the scenic Okanagan Valley, BC. It features public washrooms, picnic areas, as well as gorgeous coves with lovely beaches that are great for swimming. It is also an excellent place to launch kayaks or SUP paddleboards and is one of the most spectacular areas to explore via water.

Oct 25 Christie Memorial Park

Christie Memorial Park got its name from RCAF Pilot Officer, Robert G. Christie, who was killed in action during his service in WWII. He was the only man from Okanagan Falls to die during the war. The park is situated at the head of scenic Skaha Lake in British Columbia’s famous desert wine region the Okanagan Valley. It is located in the town of Okanagan Falls and is the largest beach in the area with more than an acre of exquisitely soft sand. Aside from the beach the park also features amenities such as picnic tables, benches, washrooms, change rooms, and tennis courts. The park also has a small peninsula that juts out into the lake and has been converted into a walkway with lamp posts and benches making it a lot a lovely place for an evening stroll.

Osoyoos Lake Regional Park is situated on the scenic Lakeshore Drive that takes you along Osoyoos Lake where you will pass by numerous beaches, hotels, resorts, and campgrounds. Osoyoos Lake is well known for being not only the warmest lake in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia but the warmest lake in the entire country of Canada and has an average summertime temperature of 24 degrees Celcius. The park itself features an abundance of large trees for shade, a nice big sandy beach, washrooms, picnic tables, and a parking lot.

Gyro Osoyoos Park and Beach are situated in the small resort town of Osoyoos which is located in the spectacular Okanagan Valley and is home to Canada’s only desert as well as some of the best weather in the country. The great weather and an abundance of sunshine are what attract tons of tourists to this exquisite fruit and wine-growing region. The heat is also the contributing factor in making Osoyoos Lake the warmest in Canada with an average summertime temperature of 24 degrees celsius.

Sẁiẁs Provincial Park (Haynes Point) is a narrow peninsula of land located on Osoyoos Lake, British Columbia. It is situated in the Okanagan Valley on the outskirts of the small town of Osoyoos and is within the traditional territory of the Osoyoos Indian Band. For thousands of years, the indigenous peoples of the Okanagan have inhabited the lands at Sẁiẁs Provincial Park. The park itself is a gorgeous strip of land that extends almost across the entirety of Osoyoos Lake and when the water is low during the summer you can pretty much walk to the other side. The park’s shores are lined with picturesque beaches that are perfect for family picnics and are open for public day-use. Sẁiẁs Provincial Park also provides campers with 41 vehicle accessible campsites and 7 of which are doubles campsites for large families and groups. Rates are $32 for one site per night or $16 for senior citizens.

The Swan Lake Nature Reserve Loop is located at the head of Swan Lake on the outskirts of Vernon, British Columbia. It is one of over 50 lakes in the Okanagan Valley, but Swan Lake is not generally used for swimming as it is quite swampy, though it is very popular for fishing, kayaking, and wildlife watching. The hike which is actually more of an easy walk takes you through picturesque grasslands with grasses that are over 6 feet tall. You will be treated to scenic rolling fields lined with quaint farmhouses and decrepit barns from the days of old. The surrounding hills roll down into the flat prairie-like valley and create a natural canvas with lovely photogenic qualities.

Pyramid Provincial Park is one of a string of three provincial parks located in the Summerland area of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and is situated on Okanagan Lake along Highway 97. Pyramid along with Kickininee and Soorimpt Provincial Parks all within minutes of each other and are road trip stopovers. The area of Summerland in the Okanagan Valley is a hotbed for tourism due to its abundant amounts of gorgeous sunny weather which in turn allows for a bounty of delicious fruits and world-class wines.

Pioneer Park is perfectly situated on the shores of gorgeous Skaha Lake in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, and provides residents and visitors of the small town of Kaleden a great place to come and relax for the day. The park features a plethora of activities and has no shortage of amenities including several near-perfect white sand beaches public, floating dock rafts, a gazebo, a picnic area, Public BBQs, a volleyball court, pickleball, tennis courts, basketball courts, and public washrooms. The park is also connected to the uber-popular Kettle Valley Rail Trail which is the longest rail-trail in BC and stretches 650 km from Hope to Castlegar.

Rotary Beach is located on the South end of the beautiful and exquisite Tuc-El-Nuit Lake in the town of Oliver, British Columbia, also known as “The Wine Capital of Canada”. It is perfectly situated in the midst of the mountainous desert terrain of the world-famous Okanagan Valley. Tuc-el-Nuit Lake is just one of over 50 lakes in the Okanagan Valley but is definitely one of the most scenic and provides great views of mountains and vineyards as well as the popular hiking area known as McIntyre Bluff in the background.
