The resort itself is beautifully designed and very clean and from our room, we had stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountain Range. The facilities are very nice and the pool area actually has a waterfall and grotto, as well as a bar and restaurant. The room we rented was well-equipped and had its own kitchen, so we opted to cook our own food and save some money. We do love to travel a lot and we also love to eat at new restaurants and try new cuisines, but that gets pricey, so whenever we have the opportunity to cook for ourselves as we did at Palm Canyon Resort, we take it.
It was very hot, around 28 Celsius or 83 Fahrenheit, while we were there in January, so we went down to the pool to cool off and had a couple of drinks from the bar. We did that until we realized it was obviously cheaper to go up to our balcony and drink our own beers, besides we had that killer view.
Our room included a television LCD/plasma screen, a separate living room, Kitchen, a whirlpool bathtub, a balcony overlooking the pool, and air conditioning. The resort also has a fitness center, sauna, outdoor pool, spa, and massage.
