Port de Pollença, also known as Puerto Pollensa, is a lovely Spanish town that is perfectly situated on the northern side of the island of Mallorca, Spain. It features a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of worthy attractions and activities like swimming, boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. The geology of the port lends to the protection of the bay from prevailing winds, crashing waves and the water tends to be very calm and placid.

Snake Island is one of many incredible attractions that are available while you visit El Nido. Palawan in the Philippines. The island consists of a sandbar which is made up of incredible white sand and surrounded by some of the most beautiful blue water you will ever lay your eyes on and if your thirsty there is a palapa bar where you can buy cocktails and beers. Snake Island so scenic that it is often compared to the likes of the Maldives or the Seychelles, which is definitely good company to be in.

San Pedro Town is the largest city on the gorgeous Caribbean island of Ambergris Caye. The island belongs to the small Central American country known as Belize and lies 35 km from the coastline. it is roughly 40 km long from north to south and around 1.6 km wide. As with most keys in the Caribbean, Ambergris Caye has nothing in terms of mountains or even hills and is essentially completely flat. That being said this spectacular island has so much to offer, such as; pearly white-sand beaches with turquoise blue waters, super-friendly locals with a uniquely blended culture, delicious food with a Mexican-Caribbean twist, and interesting wildlife like large iguanas and crocodiles.

Caye Caulker is a gorgeous tropical island getaway that is located in the Caribbean Sea and is part of the small and humble Central American country of Belize. The island has a small population of only 2000 inhabitants but does swell with tourists in the high season which is between October and April. It is not a large island and occupies an area of only 5 miles (8.0 km) long by less than 1 mile (1.6 km) wide. The island maintains an ultra-relaxed atmosphere and lives by the motto “go slow”, which is displayed all over the island and is comically enforced by the local rastas if you happen to ride your bicycle a little too fast down the main street. This relaxed way of life is even more apparent by the fact that only bicycles and golf carts are allowed on the island.

Lions Gardens, Okanagan Falls

Lions Gardens is Located in the village of Okanagan Falls, British Columbia on the south end of beautiful Skaha Lake. The park is a gorgeous 3-acre piece of paradise in the Okanagan Valley and provides visitors with the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the wonderfully landscaped gardens and the large pond that is situated in the center of the park. The pond is a great place to watch wildlife and an important habitat for local ducks, turtles, fish, and even a beaver. There are also many benches and picnic tables are throughout the park making it the perfect place for a family picnic, as well as a great location for wedding photography.

Pioneer Walkway, Osoyoos

The Pioneer Walkway is perfectly situated on the strip of land that separates the north and south ends of Osoyoos Lake, British Columbia. It is located in the exquisite Okanagan Valley which is a scenic winemaking region in Canada with some of the county’s best weather along with a Mediterranean look and feel. Osoyoos is in the South Okanagan on the border of Washington State and has by far the best weather.

Kaleden Hotel Park, Okanagan Valley

Kaleden Hotel Park lies on the shores of scenic Skaha Lake and is one of only two public parks located in the beautiful lakeside village of Kaleden, British Columbia. Kaleden is a small and quiet community that relies on the good weather of the Okanagan Valley to produce excellent crops like fruits and wines. Kaleden Hotel Park makes a nice stopover and is an interesting attraction for anybody hiking on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail going from Penticton to Okanagan Falls or vice versa.

Veterans Memorial, Osoyoos

Veterans Memorial is certainly not a hugely popular attraction in Osoyoos, British Columbia, but it does offer a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the great views of Osoyoos Lake looking towards the U.S.A. The park was created in order to remember the brave men and women who fought in wars for the Canadian Armed Forces. It features several benches and an arrangement of gardens containing many different desert plants from other parts of the world. The gardens boast several species of cold-hardy cacti including the large cholla cactus as well as a few species of yucca.

Annie's Beach Cafe and Lounge, West Kelowna

Annie’s Beach Cafe and Lounge is situated in the West Kelowna area of the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. The valley is renowned for its unique desert climate that creates the perfect fruit growing conditions and as such the Okanagan produces some of the best wines in Canada and even the world. Annie’s offers a unique eating experience that allows patrons to buy some lunch and perhaps a bottle of wine and enjoy them on the restaurant’s own private beach. Annie’s is part of the popular Frind Estate Winery where you will be able to taste some of their world-class wines and if you choose to buy a bottle you can then head out to the beach and drink it.

Begbie Falls, Revelstoke

Begbie Falls is a popular waterfall attraction, beach, and camping area which is located in the picturesque mountain town of Revelstoke, British Columbia. The falls are situated at the exit of Begbie Creek where it flows out into Upper Arrow Lake which is part of the gorgeous Shuswap region of the province. Begbie Creek is the result of glacial runoff that comes from the 2,733 m (8,967 ft) behemoth of a mountain known as Mount Begbie, which contains a subarctic climate and carries snow on its peaks year-round.

The Pelican Sunset Bar is located on the beautiful Caribbean island called Caye Caulker which is part of the country of Belize. It is a popular spot not only for its great food and all-natural tropical cocktails but also for the breathtaking sunsets that occur here every evening. The bar is situated oceanside in a shallow bay of gorgeous turquoise water and has a convenient location over the water.

Shuswap River

The Shuswap River in the interior of British Columbia has been the heart of the Okanagan Valley and the Shuswap region for many thousands of years and remains so to this day. It is not only the lifeblood of the two valleys but provides an abundance of recreational activities for all ages. In the right season, the river is perfect for taking a dip and has beautiful fresh, clean water with a glacial origin. In some areas, the river shimmers with a gorgeous emerald hue, like at the Shuswap Falls recreational area near Lumby, BC.

Torre d'enfilació, Alcudia

Situated in the North East of the island of Mallorca, Spain on a gorgeous beach named Platja de Muro lies Torre d'enfilació. It features mysterious Egyptian-like obelisks that were said to have been built by the Spanish Navy just after the Spanish Guerra Civil. There 28 towers in total that were used for spotting submarines off the coast until better technologies made them obsolete. Now they are quite the neat tourist attraction, along with the hiking trails located throughout the sand dunes. The dunes are home to a unique ecosystem that has an interesting pine forest.

Hidden Beach, Ambergris Caye

Hidden Beach on Ambergris Caye, Belize is a secluded strip of several incredible coves with fine white sand and a quiet relaxing atmosphere than its more developed neighbor, Secret Beach. Hidden Beach is considered to be part of Secret Beach and though it requires a short walk through the jungle, it is definitely worth the time, especially if you want to get away from the hustle of the more popular beaches.

Secret Beach, Belize is a gorgeous representation of what the more touristy areas of today would’ve looked like years ago. Don’t be mistaken though, nowadays Secret Beach is starting to boom and crowds are starting to appear, that being said it is still possible to relax in peace and quiet. Located on gorgeous Ambergris Caye just a short drive from San Pedro.

El Matador Beach in Malibu is a dramatic slice of California coastline with an abundance of spectacular scenery. Malibu is full of incredible views and breathtaking beaches, but El Matador is one of the most popular and that is probably due to the unique rock formations and sea caves located within the park.

Natural Bridges State Beach

Natural Bridges State Beach is a 65-acre park in Santa Cruz, California is a wonderful example of how Mother Nature can manipulate even the largest of stones. The cove and beach provide a great place for wildlife lovers to spot many different types of birds, seals, otters, and even whales gracefully swimming by. There is also a trail to get some better vantage points and explore the tidepools, where you can see all kinds of ocean life like sea stars, crabs, and other interesting sea creatures.

Santa Barbara Shores County Park

Choose one of the many hiking trails within Santa Barbara Shores County Park, California, and explore the incredible sandy beaches or the eucalyptus forest where thousands of butterflies congregate. Santa Barbara Shores Park is not actually located in Santa Barbara but is instead located in the neighboring community of Goleta, California.
