Revelstoke, British Columbia is a small mountain town with an abundance of adventure-filled activities for visitors of all ages. From the gorgeous turquoise lakes and the rugged alpine peaks of Mount Revelstoke National Park to the peaceful sounds of Begbie Falls and its lovely beach area, Revelstoke has something great to offer for almost anybody who visits this gem of a town. Revelstoke is situated on the banks of the mighty Columbia River and is also home to the BC Hydro owned Revelstoke Dam. The dam uses the Columbia River to make electricity for BC’s residents and in turn, created Lake Revelstoke, which provides an excellent recreation area for locals and visitors alike.
