Carmel River State Beach

Carmel River State Beach is a gorgeous white sand beach located in the whimsical village of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The park features the aptly named Carmel River Lagoon and Wetlands Natural Preserve and is the outflow point of the Carmel River. The lagoon is an incredible wildlife watching area and has many species of birds.

Jericho Beach, Vancouver

Jericho Beach is located west of the Kitsilano neighborhood in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of Jericho Beach Park, which is a popular attraction in the city of Vancouver and features food concessions, a soccer field, a baseball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, public washrooms, beach volleyball nets, as well as a peaceful pond for bird and wildlife watching.

Okanagan Beach Club

Formally known as Lake Okanagan Resort, the Okanagan Beach Club features 300 acres of Okanagan wilderness which has been set aside to create a wonderful vacation destination. Okanagan College Connector Trail

The Okanagan College Connector Trail is situated on the south end of the city of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, and has marvelous views of Okanagan Lake as well as Swan Lake to the north. You can start your hike at either Fulton Secondary School or from Mission Road which has a baseball diamond and some parking spaces.

Mill Creek Regional Park

Mill Creek is an easy and relaxing hike that is great for the entire family. It is located near Kelowna, British Columbia that takes you through a beautiful green forest alongside a creek that is abundant in small waterfalls and natural swimming pools. One of the bigger waterfalls in the park is perfect for jumping in and there is a small cliff if your brave enough to dive in.

Papago Park

Papago is a fairly large park located in Phoenix, Arizona. Coming in at 1496 acres and has a plethora of different hiking trails that take you through beautiful desert landscapes littered with many unique species of cacti, including the famous saguaro. The saguaro cactus is an iconic piece of Arizona and is pretty much synonymous with the state.

Leo Carrillo Beach

Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu, California is an incredibly beautiful park situated along dramatic coastlines packed with gorgeous sandy beaches and rocky bluffs. The state park includes a public campground that has 135 campsites for tents, trailers, and RVs and is perfectly located just across the highway from the beach.

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Embraced by the Pacific on three sides, the Monterey Peninsula in California offers windswept beaches, rocky coves, great seafood restaurants, fascinating historical sites, and of course the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. The aquarium itself has a ton of neat things to see for the whole family, such as the jellyfish exhibit or the ceiling aquarium full of silvery sardines.

Xunantunich Mayan Ruins

The Xunantunich Mayan ruins are an ancient archaeological site located 70 miles inland deep into the jungles of Belize, near the city of San Ignacio and right on the border of Guatemala. It is a smaller ruins site in terms of area, but the largest Mayan temple, “El Castillo” rises high above the trees giving you an incredible 360 view and with its height is actually the second tallest structure in Belize after another temple at Caracol. Upon arriving at the park there will be an entrance fee of $5 BZD or $2.50 USD, which is well worth it for the experience.

Platja de Formentor

Platja de Formentor is a gorgeous strip of beach with lovely fine white sand. It is located along the edge of the majestic Formentor Peninsula on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The beach is surrounded by a beautiful wilderness area full of pine trees and also has goats that you’ll see almost everywhere on the island. The water is crystal clear blue is very clean and the weather is gorgeous year-round. The beach is picture perfect and has some of the most beautiful scenery that the world has to offer.

Canada is a vast and massive land and is in fact the second-largest country in the world, but only in terms of land area and it has a relatively low population given its large size. Secret Beach Cabanas, Belize

I want to start by saying that Belize is an absolutely incredible country, which is full of unique and interesting sites and attractions, but none has captured our thoughts like Secret Beach. We found out about Secret Beach by looking at a map and checking for new places that we could explore with our golf cart rental. For those who don’t know golf carts and bicycles are the two main modes of transportation on the island, which definitely helps maintain the relaxed vibes.
